Is a solar off-grid solution financially viable for me?
Even in places of the world with moderate climates, the generation of electricity using sun or wind has become an economically viable alternative for the classic forms of energy production. Especially when diesel generators are used but even when connected to the electricity grid.
South East Asia, with its sunny climate and intensive sunlight, is particularly suitable for the generation of sustainable energy. In some cases connection to an electricity grid is not possible, as on many small islands off the coast, or the connection to the grid is very costly due to remote location. In some cases the electricity infrastructure is simply not reliable enough to meet the demands of the consumer. In these cases a robust, well designed, off-grid system is a comprehensive solution.
